Getting Started with TradeCraft: A Guide for Service Businesses

Welcome to TradeCraft, the all-in-one platform designed to help your service business thrive. Whether you're in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or any other field service industry, getting organized is the first step towards growth. This guide will walk you through the initial setup process.
Step 1: Complete Your Company Profile
Your company profile is your identity on the platform. Navigate to Settings > Company Profile
to add your company logo, contact information, and address. This information will automatically appear on your invoices and estimates, giving them a professional touch.
Step 2: Invite Your Team
You can't run a business alone. Go to Settings > Users & Roles
and click Invite Employee. You can add your technicians, office staff, and dispatchers. Assign them a role, and they'll receive an email invitation to join your team on TradeCraft.
Adding Customers
Head over to the Customers tab and click Add Customer. Fill in their details. Having your customer database in one place makes it easy to track service history and manage communications.
Creating a Job
Now for the core of your business. Go to the Jobs page and create a new job. Select the customer, choose a service type, and write a brief description of the work needed. You can even use our AI-powered generator to create a detailed job description instantly. Assign the job to a technician and watch it appear on your Schedule.
